During this week, we started by working on pronunciation. We focused especially on vowel sounds, segmental phonemes, and the rhythm of the English language. We practiced how to produce the sounds correctly and did some listening and repetition activities to improve our accent.
I learned how to pronounce English vowels more accurately and discovered that
rhythm and stress are very important to sound natural when speaking. I also
understood that pronunciation requires constant practice and patience, but it
really helps to communicate better.
My
opinion:
I liked this lesson because it was practical and useful for everyday
communication. Even though pronunciation can be challenging, I felt motivated
to keep improving. It made me more aware of how English sounds and how small
differences can change the meaning of words.
